He lives in Plovdiv and works mainly in the field of applied graphics and spatial layout. About his creative handwriting, Prof. Dr. Nenko Atanasov, head of the "Poster and Visual Communication" department at the NHA emphasizes:
"The presence of the author is remarkable, and his unceasing creative activity is of absolute magnitude - from the end of the 1970s to today. An essential prerequisite for this definition is that Kostadin Otonov plunged headlong into the profession of "poster artist" in the most favorable period of development of applied graphics, working among the creative competition of a constellation of renowned artists. And regardless of the fact that his work is multifaceted, the theatrical poster for him is the source of spiritual delight, where he has insatiable fun…”
Kostadin Ottonov participated in all county exhibitions from 1977 to 1995.
