Regional History Museum - Plovdiv and the Institute for Historical Studies at BAS are organizing a National Scientific Conference on the theme: "In the Spiral of Time: People, Ideas, Spaces and Events". The forum will be held on October 13, 14 and 15 in Plovdiv. The meeting will be hosted by the Regional History Museum - Plovdiv, Exposition The Unification of Bulgaria. More than 50 researchers from various scientific and cultural organizations throughout Bulgaria participate in the conference. During the forum, the books "Last of its kind. Dr. Georgi Valkovich (1833-1892)" by Assoc. Dr. Aleka Strezova and "Dazzled and frightening: foreign women and men in Bulgarian literature from the long XIX century" by Nikolay Aretov. With the conference and the collection of reports, which will be printed by the end of the year, the organizers and long-time collaborators in historical research and the popularization of historical knowledge testify their respect for the jubilee anniversary of Assoc. Dr. Vasilka Tankova and mark 75 years since the founding of the Regional historical museum - Plovdiv.
