"Short Film at Fargo" prepares for Halloween with three films by the duo of Stephen King and George Romero, shot for the anthology "Horror Show". It starts at 8.30 pm at the Fargo Club.

"Creepshow" is a comedy horror film written by Stephen King and directed by George Romero. It consists of five short segments, two of which are direct adaptations of King's stories. The film is an homage to 1950s horror comics such as Tales from the Crypt, The Vault of Horror, and The Haunt of Fear. Tonight we'll see Father's Day, The Lonely Death of Geordie Verrill and Something to Keep You Alive.

Stephen Edwin King (born September 21, 1947) is an American author who works in the genres of horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction, and fantasy. His books have sold more than 350 million copies, many of which have been adapted into feature films, miniseries, television series and comic books. He is recognized as the "King of Horror".

George Andrew Romero (1940–2017) was an American-Canadian director, screenwriter and editor, best known for his series of gruesome and satirical horror films depicting the onset of a zombie apocalypse, including the classic Night of the Living Dead (1968).
