The Municipality of Plovdiv and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bulgaria are pleased to invite the residents of Plovdiv and the guests of the city on November 6, Monday, from 6:00 p.m. at the Boris Hristov House of Culture on an exciting, virtual trip around the North African country. The event will be opened by Her Excellency Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Visitors will be able to touch the traditions and culture of the Kingdom of Morocco by tasting the specialties of Moroccan cuisine and Moroccan tea - a centuries-old tradition preserved to this day, as well as getting to know the typical Moroccan women's costumes - Kaftans. These hand-stitched fabulous clothes, which Moroccan women only wear on special occasions, will be presented by the girls of the Dilyanka Folk Dance Ensemble.

In addition to touching Moroccan cuisine and traditions, guests will be able to enjoy the exhibition of the famous Plovdiv photographer Mino Mihailov "Morocco - inspiration in colors". The footage in the exhibition was taken over a period of 10 years and includes landscapes, portraits, architecture and street scenes. The presented photos will meet visitors with colorful people and impressive places from the Kingdom of Morocco. Refracted through the eyes of photographer Minko Mihailov, they convey the spirit of this exotic North African country. The exhibition includes footage not shown to the Plovdiv audience from his last journey in 2023.
