The first plein air was organized in 2016 at the initiative of NGSEI - Plovdiv and it was attended by artists-teachers from art schools from Bulgaria and Europe.
The goal of the project is the creation of creative products by representatives of different cultures and creative schools, exchange of ideas and sharing of practical experience in the field of art education, search for new approaches in teaching art disciplines.
In the previous editions, teachers - artists from Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and others participate.
The large format drawing - 100/70 cm on a free subject gives creative freedom and is a challenge to use different techniques in the realization of artistic ideas. On plein air days, artists of different sensibilities work and live in a collaborative creative community and have the opportunity for a continuous exchange of ideas, cultural understandings, life and professional experiences connected by the challenge of working on paper.
The current exhibition presents the works of 8 participants and once again gives us the opportunity to empathize with the creative achievements of the artist-teachers, and Plovdiv is once again a center for popularizing art in Bulgaria and Europe.
