Strong and impressive edition of AGRA, VINARIA and FOODTECH in 2024
International Fair Plovdiv expects next year’s edition of the three international exhibitions: AGRA, VINARIA and FOODTECH to be the strongest ever.

These exhibitions will be held simultaneously for the ninth time within the mega forum for agribusiness and food in the Balkans. Such optimistic expectations are based on the number of applications for participation and the surface areas booked so far. Based on information from the Sales Department of the Fair, there will be an increase by 30% for both these indicators compared to the previous edition. More stands will have to be built and the expositions will expand to additional pavilions. The upcoming edition will consolidate the ranking of the forum as the largest economic event for agriculture, vine growing, winemaking and food industry in Southeast Europe. Traditionally, it attracts manufacturers and traders by offering opportunities for direct marketing to an audience of thousands of people and for business negotiations with contractors and visitors from all over the world.

The ninth edition will be held again under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture. Partners of International Fair Plovdiv in organizing the event are AGROTECH, the Agricultural Academy, the Union of Enologists, the University of Food Technologies, industry organizations and chambers of commerce.

AGRA 2024 covers all sectors of agriculture: science, farming, technology, equipment, products, innovations and services in agriculture and stock breeding. Visitors will see modern agricultural machinery, a huge variety of seeds, vegetable seedlings and fruit trees, gardening and farming equipment, fertilizers and plant protection products, high technology in agriculture, irrigation equipment and automated systems for every stage of agricultural production both in the field and in greenhouses, stock-breeding machinery and equipment. Everything for the small personal farm, for medium-size and large farms, for agribusiness and related activities will be available at International Fair Plovdiv from February 20 to 24, 2024. The development of AGRA as an exhibition for innovations in the field of agribusiness determines the upward trend of the exhibition and its size. The innovation competition is an invariable part of the rich accompanying program and, as a rule, attracts wide public, professional and media interest.

The international exhibitions VINARIA 2024 and FOODTECH 2024 will welcome exhibitors and visitors with an attractive vision and a new location. The City of Wine and Delicacies is already being built in the spacious Pavilion 8, while the Technology Area remains in Pavilion 11. The 31st edition of the vine growing and winemaking exhibition will feature traditional and established wineries, boutique wineries from various regions and countries. Amateurs and professionals alike will enjoy presentations and tastings of elegant wines from around the world, branded spirits, exotic drinks, extravagant and daring combinations of aromas and flavors. For the first time, International Fair Plovdiv provides each exhibiting wine producer with the participation of one of their products in the "Golden rhyton" International Competition. It is organized according to world-class criteria and is held in partnership with the Union of Enologists in Bulgaria and the University of Food Technology. The "Golden Rhyton" awards from VINARIA are the most prestigious honors in winemaking and a guarantee of top quality. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste the wines which have won the prestigious prize.
