The Union of Plovdiv Artists opens Annual Exhibition "Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, N Forms" and presents awards to outstanding members

Every year on the eve of the brightest holidays - Christmas, the Union of Plovdiv Artists presents its biggest exhibition, dedicated to the current year in a peculiar way, presents what has been achieved in the current year and celebrates the successes of its prominent members who have demonstrated vivid presence in the cultural life of the union during the year.

The opening is on December 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in 2019 Exhibition hall of the City Gallery of Fine Arts at 32 Gladstone Street. The Annual Awards will be presented, which are determined by a 5-member jury in the categories: painting, graphics, sculpture, N forms, young author. One of the artists will be honored with the "Award of the Mayor of Plovdiv ", a tradition from the last 12 years.

All prize-winners, participants, guests and friends will be greeted by the newly elected chairperson of the union - Lidiya Simeonova.

The annual exhibition of the Union of Plovdiv Artists takes place with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the Cultural Calendar for 2023. The exhibition has free entry and can be viewed until December 31, 2023.

The Union of Plovdiv Artists, founded in 1990, is an association with an ideal and non-profit purpose. One of its main tasks is to promote the creativity of its members. The company is the successor of the Group of Plovdiv Artists - SBH and currently unites over 400 artists on a regional basis.

The members of the union work in the field of various visual arts: painting, graphics, sculpture, applied arts, alternative forms, curatorial projects. The Union of Plovdiv Artists is the largest creative association in Plovdiv and the largest creative association of artists outside the capital.

The company carries out a number of events, mainly exhibitions: general, group, visiting and independent. The company makes contacts both with similar structures in the country and with those outside the country.
