Tepe Jamboree – A Marathon of Sports, Culture, and Entertainment

Tepe Jamboree is Plovdiv’s sports and cultural marathon, combining running, movement, and culture through the central parts of the city and its hills (tepes). This is not just a standard running event – along the route, participants encounter artistic and cultural performances such as jazz music, traditional horo dance, theatre, and other activities that turn the experience into a celebration of sport and culture.

Routes:
Alyashko Jamboree – Suitable for everyone whether you are a beginner, a recreational runner, or simply want to enjoy active movement through the city. The route passes through the tepes and iconic city locations, with music, performers, and support along the way. There is no time pressure – the experience is what matters.
Champion Jamboree – This route is designed for more experienced runners. Although it is often underestimated due to being “only” 13 kilometers long, it is in fact a true urban challenge, entirely within an urban environment – featuring repeated ascents and descents, cobblestones, stairs, changes of pace, and cultural points along the way. Fun, technical, and memorable.
Kids Jamboree – A special route for the youngest participants, focused on the joy of movement, play, and the first steps toward an active lifestyle.
