Days after the International Children's Day and the Rose Festival, on June 8 and 9, 2024, Plovdiv will sparkle with the splendor of the Second Edition of the "Traditions and Memory" festival at the Roman Stadium of Filipopol. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv under Component 1 "Festivals and significant events" - part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2024.

"We have no doubt that in the upcoming edition of our festival we will welcome many talents inspired by our folklore and traditions. After welcoming hundreds of participants in 2022, we are excited to give a stage to all those who wish, which will be twice as many as the first edition. There is no way to hide the fact that the unique place for performances - the Roman Stadium of Filipopol gives the opportunity to perform in front of a diverse audience and guests of Plovdiv from all over the world. The sections will again be three: singing, choreographic performance art and reenactment of Bulgarian traditions and customs. In the second edition of the festival, which has a national status, performers are expected from quite distant parts of our country ", says the team of the "Traditions and Memory" foundation.

The authoritative jury is composed of: Prof. Dr. Svetla Kaludova-Stanilova, head assistant professor Dr. Blagovesta Kalcheva and master Stoyan Marinov. The organizers say that each participant will receive a diploma, and the prize winners - a cash prize, a diploma and cups specially made for the forum. On the two festival days, Plovdiv residents and guests of the city will have the opportunity to admire beautiful costumes, sumptuous dances, beautiful rhythms and vocal performances from 09:30 to 17:30 at the Roman Stadium of Filipopol.
