Belgian virtuoso Daniel Verstappen arrives in Bulgaria for two concerts in Plovdiv and Gabrovo

Nina Nikolina, Lyubo Kirov, Kalin Velov, the cavalryman Damyan Yordanov and the "Magical Voices of Bulgaria" choir will also participate in the "Bridge between Cultures"

One of the most unusual figures of the European music scene arrives in Bulgaria in June. The world-famous Belgian pianist and composer Daniel Verstappen will perform two concerts in the country, and he will not betray his unique talent.

Bulgaria is part of Verstappen's RECONNECTION - 2023/2024 world tour, in which the pianist crosses the stages of the "Kennedy Center" in Washington, "Sydney Opera" in Australia, "Piano Center for Music and Art" in New Zealand, "Harpa" in Iceland, and in our country the virtuoso will arrive immediately after his performance at "Carnegie Hall" in New York.

Verstappen's concerts are literally unique, as in each one he originally recreates a part of the national music of the respective country. The Belgian virtuoso unites this concept of his in the "Bridge between cultures" project, and in Bulgaria Nina Nikolina, Lyubo Kirov, Kalin Velyov, the cavalryman Damian Yordanov and the "Magic Voices of Bulgaria" choir receive an invitation to participate in it .

The best way to represent your country is through music, says Daniel Verstappen, or as I like to say: music is the best ambassador. "Bridge between cultures" is the connection that meets people and generations from different countries and leaves a warm trace in their hearts.

The Bulgarian audience will immerse themselves in the magic of the deeply emotional music created by Daniel Verstappen on June 18 at the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv and on June 20 in Gabrovo at the Emmanuel Manolov House of Culture. Then the premiere of the unique collaboration between the Belgian pianist and Bulgarian artists, based on Bulgarian folklore, will take place.

Daniel Verstappen 's concerts in Bulgaria are under the patronage of the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bulgaria on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the European Commission. The event in Plovdiv takes place with the kind support of the Municipality of Plovdiv.

The start of the "Bridge between Cultures" concert on June 18 at the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv is 8:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale throughout the Eventim network. Daniel Verstappen will donate part of the revenue from tickets to environmental organizations.
