Ivo Siromahov visits the Regional Natural History Museum in Plovdiv on Friday

The beloved Bulgarian writer, screenwriter, actor, playwright and TV presenter Ivo Siromahov will meet the Plovdiv public on March 15 (Friday) at 6:00 p.m. in the "Planetarium" hall of the Regional Museum of Natural History. The event is part of the series of meetings with popular personalities that the RPNM - Plovdiv team organizes.

"The purpose of these meetings is to provide an opportunity for our young and adult visitors to get in touch famous personalities who have success in the various spheres of public life - science, sports, culture, art and others. This Friday, the popular writer and TV presenter will delight his fans in Plovdiv with interesting and funny stories and the presentation of some of his books ," said the head assistant professor Ognyan Todorov, director of the Regional Natural History Museum - Plovdiv.

Ivo Siromahov was born on December 29, 1971 in Sofia. In 1990, he graduated from the National High School for Ancient Languages and Cultures. He completed his higher education in 1996 at NATFIZ, master's degree in theater directing. He works as a director in the Small City Theater "Behind the Canal" and the Theater "Bulgarian Army". Since May 2000 worked as a screenwriter, actor and TV presenter in "Slavi's Show" on BTV and on "Sedem Osmi" TV, where he also appeared as a presenter and actor. He has published numerous articles in MAXIM, Playboy, Hustler and MAX magazines.

His plays "Bulgarian Criminal", "Operation", "The Island" and "Love Stories" were staged on the theater stage. In 2021, together with director Zlatomir Moldovanski, he founded the production company "BG Comedy". The company creates theatrical performances in which some of the most prominent Bulgarian actors participate. It is focused on contemporary drama, emotional theater and intelligent humor. He is the author of twenty-nine books and thirteen plays.

He is the winner of the "Award for Debut in the Field of Arts" - 1995, "The Flower of Helicon" for the best-selling book by a Bulgarian author ("My Secret Love Life") - 2014, the Award of the National Library "Ivan Vazov " (Plovdiv) - "Favorite Author of Plovdiv" - 2014, "Golden Feather" for contribution to Bulgarian culture and art - 2021 and Award of the Children's Jury from the National Children's Book Festival "Konstantin Konstantinov" - 2023.
