A traditional spring competition

Dear participants of the 21st Sri Chinmoy Marathon and Half Marathon "Self-Transcendence". Thank you for your patience and the great enthusiasm with which you waited for the official date of one of your favorite competitions. We will be waiting for you at the start line on Sunday 17th March from 9:00 a.m. if you are a marathoner, or from 10:00 a.m. if you will be doing your best at the half-marathon distance.

The route around the Olympic rowing channel in Plovdiv is our trademark, so we are happy to start the preparations for holding an unforgettable competition in a spirit of joy, enthusiasm and optimal care for each participant.

This year there will again be winners in each of the four categories – male and female, and each successful finisher will be crowned with a medal.

The price for participating in the competition is BGN 55, and for students and pensioners BGN 35, and includes a themed T-shirt, refreshments along the route, a hot lunch, a certificate, digital timing.

Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team has no sponsors and runs its races in a spirit of selfless service to the sporting community, aiming to support each participant to reach new heights in their sporting history.
