"Chamber Scene Plovdiv" begins its 14th season, dedicated to contemporary trends, multicultural collaborations and provocations
For the 14th time in a row, the team of the "Chamber Scene Plovdiv" platform declares intentions for an uncompromisingly strong season within the year with a focus on young, talented, as well as already proven artists of the European alternative jazz scene.
After the extremely successful thirteenth season in the past year 2023, dedicated to the music of Europe, in 2024 the platform team will present the new trends and directions in contemporary chamber music making. Alternative, contemporary sound, multicultural collaborations and provocation mark the projected ideas for the upcoming season.
Projects from Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Greece are just some of the confirmed participation in the platform for the upcoming season. Along with them are the names of Bulgarian artists, such as the holders Borislav Yasenov, Hristo Yotsov, as well as the young Konstantin Kostov, Ivan Melin, Boris Petkov and many others.
The organizers remain true to their mission of searching for and establishing new alternative spaces for culture in Plovdiv, and the main one of them during the year will be the Culture stage Hotspot Milcho Leviev - "Ivan Chernozemski" house in the Old Town.
After the friendly hand extended by the "Business for Plovdiv" association, the two organizations are faced with the challenge of turning the location into one of the hot cultural spots of Plovdiv.
The "Chamber Scene Plovdiv" project is implemented with the financial support of the Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2024.
