"Night of Stories" makes its comeback in Plovdiv with a fresh edition, joining the lineup of the city's 6Fest Street and Urban Arts Festival. Set for May 9th at 7:00 PM, the event takes place at Club "Fargo" and welcomes all for free.

Momchil Tsonev, the brain behind the "Night of Stories", is a multifaceted figure—journalist, author, and cultural organizer. He's known for founding the historical hub "Stornik," the altruistic community "The Good Bulgarians," and the vibrant street arts celebration, 6Fest. For the inaugural Night of Stories, Momchil collaborated with poet and publisher Rumen Barosov, who serves as the chief editor of the literary journal "Ah, Maria," adding depth and creativity to the event's organization.

Stories about Plovdiv will be told by representatives of the Regional Archaeological Museum, the Regional History Museum, the History and Archeology Department of Plovdiv University and the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv".

Kaloyan Dayarov is a tour guide at the Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv, but he also participates in the excavations conducted in the city. His interesting perspective allows him to easily bring museum exhibits to life, thus turning any visit to the museum into an impromptu journey through time. Dayarov's topic in "Night of Stories" will be "We, the archaeologists", in which he will tell a little more about the archaeological profession.

Dr. Teodora Georgieva is a historian and an assistant at the Department of History and Archeology at Plovdiv University. Her topic in "Night of Stories" will be "Medieval Philippopolis and its ethno-religious image". Dr. Georgieva will share interesting facts about the population of medieval Plovdiv, the social image of the city, its neighborhoods, more interesting events from the everyday life of the Plovdiv population during the Middle Ages, mainly from the XI - XII century period.

Kaloyan Stanchev is a curator at the Regional History Museum - Plovdiv. He is one of the new additions to the team, a representative of the younger generation of historians. As the grandson of Dimitar Stanchev - the man who created the "Union of Bulgaria since 1885" exhibition, Kaloyan continues the traditions and himself becomes part of the history of the museum, following the professional path of his grandfather. Kaloyan Stanchev's topic in "Night of Stories" will be "Implementation of the idea of a museum of the Unification".

Valya Angelova is the curator of Dr. Stoyan Chomakov's house with a permanent exhibition of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, which is part of the objects of the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv". Her theme in "Night of Stories" will be "Zlatyu Boyadzhiev - before, now and forever". Angelova will tell what he went through, how he lived, what he struggled with to become the great artist we all know today.

In 2019, "Night of Stories" visited Plovdiv for the first time as part of the official program of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture and in parallel with the 6Fest Street Arts Festival. The second city edition of Night of Stories for Plovdiv was in 2022 with the participation of the Regional Ethnographic Museum, Ivan Vazov National Library, Society of Plovdiv Artists.
