One of the great artists of Plovdiv - the sculptor Tsviatko Syromashki turns 70 on May 20. The occasion gives the audience the happy opportunity to see a large-scale panorama of his rich work in his retrospective art exhibition “Lithiino” which will open on May 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Hall "2019" at the City Art Gallery-Plovdiv.

Tsviatko Siromashki finds spiritual parallels between the festive liturgical processions characteristic of the Easter days and the procession of works created by him during all 45 years after graduating from the Academy of Arts in Sofia (1979). On the second level in the spacious hall will be seen his early works, many of which have a Christian theme.
A kind of highlight in this unfolding of time is the composition "Memories from the Future", including 12 horses in different colors, photographs of all the people important to the author over the years. They also suggest the different periods through which the artist has passed. He attaches great importance to his childhood and memories of his early years, among which is the real live horse he received as a gift. Syromashki even keeps his works from the age of 8.
According to his confession, he dedicated between 5 and 7 years of his life to each of the sculptures in the space of Plovdiv, and created impressive monumental works. He is the author of the monument of Lucien Chevalas, of arch. Joseph Schnitter, the memorial sign of Pope John Paul II, the mask of the opera singer Boris Hristov and others. He created the composition "Spiritual Gate" in Sofia and a number of plastic works of stone and bronze in different cities of the country. He worked for more than 2 years in Germany, where he left over 50 original sculptures. His stay in Japan is beneficial.

Tsviatko Syromashki is a member of the SBH and the Union of German Artists from North Hesse, Germany. He participated in symposia in stone, wood, ceramics, snow and ice in Bulgaria, Latvia, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Austria. He has solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Japan, Austria. He is the winner of numerous awards: Award for Sculpture from the International Biennale in Gabrovo, Award for Sculpture from the "Man and Water" Competition, Germany, 2nd Award in Granite from the International Symposium in Boduzzo, Italy, Grand Prix of Vodka "Finland" for ice sculpture, Cité des Arres Award, France, Golden Feather Award 2014 for achievements in art and culture, etc.
His works are owned by museums and galleries in Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Latvia, Germany, Japan, Russia, as well as private collections, including those of His Holiness Pope John Paul II.

Here's what he says about his art:
"The Creator is a person from a collection of Divine energy, Spirit and knowledge in various areas of life. Above all, the creative process is a silent re-creation of feelings. He is the author, and I only assist him in creating the spiritual space of the gallery. I hope that my fans and viewers will feel purified and spiritualized for many years to come!”

The exhibition will be open until June 14.
