Following the opening of the exhibition and the awarding of the •Reader of the Year from 5 to 105• awards, a screening of the documentary film "DAGA – Stories in Pictures" will take place in Reading Room № 2 "Acad. Petar Dinekov." The film is about the magazine "DAGA," which appeared in Bulgaria during the socialist era in 1979, promoting Western influences – the art of comics. The magazine existed for more than ten years, and its massive circulation of 300,000 copies was sold out completely. "DAGA" is the only publication of its kind in the former Eastern Bloc. Some of the series and characters from the magazine are still remembered today, having left a lasting impact on people's personal development.

The exhibition will be open until June 21.
