The traditional "Orpheus" Summer Cinema Festival, Film Nights in Philipopolis, returns for another year with 21 days of a rich film program.

The program opens on July 5 with a screening of "Despicable Me 4" at 9:10 PM. We'll get to see the new life of the villain Gru and his family as they embark on a new adventure with the unforgettable yellow minions. Later that evening, at 11:00 PM, we'll be able to watch the new Bulgarian film "It's Never Just Sex" by Sanja Borisova. On Saturday at 9:10 PM, we will see Russell Crowe in the thriller "The Exorcist," and at 11:00 PM the same night, the great comedy "True Life," which won the grand prize at the European Comedy Film Festival. On Sunday, there will be a screening of "The Count of Monte Cristo" – a new French adaptation that received accolades at the Cannes Film Festival. The program continues with daily screenings at 9:10 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays, there will be a second late-night film. Until July 26, we will be able to watch the sequel to "Inside Out" – the second part, in which young Riley becomes a teenager, and the new emotions in her head cause great confusion in her system. "Bad Boys: All or Nothing" is another sequel to the cult action movie with the two unforgettable cops – a classic action film that will leave you breathless. The program also includes "Twisters" – a new version of the classic film about a group of scientists who risk their lives near a tornado to test new technology. Among the Bulgarian titles we can watch is the romantic and touching "Because I Love Bad Weather."

A special surprise for film lovers is the program of Charlie Chaplin movies – one each week of the festival. The legendary cinema program starts with "The Great Dictator" on July 14, continues with "City Lights" on July 19, and concludes with, arguably, his most iconic film, "The Gold Rush," on July 26. The entire program can be seen on the LUCKY Cinema House website – kinolucky.com.

Tickets are priced at 9 BGN and 8 BGN – for students and retirees, and can be purchased from the LUCKY Cinema House box office at 1 Gladstone Street every weekday after 4 PM and on weekends from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and from July 5 at the "Orpheus" Summer Cinema box office after 7:30 PM.
