Star-studded autumn edition of the anniversary 15th International Festival "Balabanov House's Music Days"

The 15th International Festival "Balabanov House's Music Days" presents exceptional performers and unique musical events in its autumn edition - the start is September 18.

Among them, the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Albena Danailova, the world-famous opera primas Krasimira Stoyanova (soprano) - chamberlain of the Vienna Opera and Svetlina Stoyanova (mezzo-soprano), the famous violinist Svetlin Rusev, the famous recorder player Erik Bosgraaf (Netherlands) on one scene with Zafira Valova (violin) – Bulgarian pride in the area on the baroque music, the virtuoso Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son, the angelic voices of the Sofia chamber choir "Vasil​ Arnaudov" with a conductor Theodora Pavlovich, quintet "Pilekadone" - winner of "Golden lira" award for excellence in the performing arts, the famous cellist Alexander​ Somov, the pianist Nadezhda Vlaeva - winner of "Musician of the year” award, the jazz pianist Konstantine Kostov and others. 

The festival includes in the program exceptional and unusual​ musical events such as “Music for a while or how much jazz is there in the Baroque”; the premiere for Bulgaria a concert “Contrabando” featuring on the celebrity Stoyan Karaivanov (bandoneon) and Asya Karaivanova (double bass); the concert - meeting with the legendary jazz pianist , conductor and composer Antoni Donchev with host Svetoslav Nikolov - program director on Jazz FM Radio.

The international festival "Balabanov House's Music Days" is the winner of prestigious awards such as "Musical Project of the Year" in the "Musician of the Year" ranking of the Bulgarian National Radio, a Gold Medal from the Ministry of Culture, the "Plovdiv Award" for music, etc. It is a part of the Cultural calendar on Municipality Plovdiv with the support of the Municipality Plovdiv, the Ministry of Culture, Foundation Musicartissimo.
