Two pairs of parents meet to discuss an altercation between their eleven-year-old sons, in which one of the boys, dubbed "the snitch", breaks two of the other's teeth with a stick. Gradually, not without the help of a bottle of whiskey offered by the Ray family, the restrained and amiable relationship loses its luster, and the parents become more and more like their children - reckless, short-tempered, aggressive. Slowly and menacingly, the God of Carnage peeks out from behind the mask of decency...
