" Letera " publishing house invites Plovdiv residents to four "Spiritual Routes in Plovdiv 2024" in September and October

" Letera " publishing house invites residents of Plovdiv and guests of the city to the next four "Spiritual Routes in Plovdiv 2024", which will be held in the months of September and October.

The project is financed by the Municipality of Plovdiv under Component 1 "Festivals and significant events" and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2024.

The first route is dedicated to National Autumn Exhibitions Plovdiv 2024 . It will be held on 14.09.2024, Saturday, from 11:00 a.m., with a meeting point in the Old Town, Balabanova house. The guide in this spiritual journey will be Prof. Dr. Galina Lardeva , professor of art history and theory, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, AMTII - Plovdiv, artistic director of the National Autumn Exhibitions since 2013, author of curatorial projects and art studies. The route will traditionally present this year's edition of the National Autumn Exhibitions, which show nine authors in the courtyards and houses of the Old Town - Balaban House, Hindliyan House and the Permanent Exhibition Mexican Art.

Participants in the route will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Petrinel Gochev (drawing and sculpture), Tsocho Boyadjiev (photography), Stanimir Genov (painting), Gergana Tabakova (painting), Liliana Alexandrova (watercolor and drawing), Kamen Tsvetkov ( sculpture), Gita Markova (art glass), Goran Trichkovski (graphics), Snezhana Simeonova (sculpture).

Entrance is free!

The second route is on the theme "Prominent Plovdiv artists" and will be held on 21.09.2024, Saturday, 11:00 a.m., meeting point: in front of the monument to Tsanko Lavrenov. The guide is again Prof. Dr. Galina Lardeva . The third route is entitled "The City of Plovdiv in Bulgarian Literature I". On 29.09.2024, Sunday, 10:30 a.m., with the meeting point - Seventh Hill, the guide on the journey will be Assoc. Dr. Mladen Vlaški. He will present the fourth route "The city of Plovdiv in Bulgarian literature II" on 06.10.2024, Sunday, 10:30 a.m., with a meeting point on "Ivan Vazov" street in front of the southern stairs of "Ivan Vazov" NB.
