The famous progressives Grammy Award-winning metal titans and beloved by some of the world's most passionate fans, Dream Theater are returning to the Bulgarian audience next year for an unforgettable musical experience at the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv. The band, once again in its legendary line-up - John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy, James LaBrie, John Myung and Jordan Rudess, is going on tour together for the first time in fourteen years and on July 21st they will present their " An Evening with Dream Theater ” and here at the invitation of Fest Team.
Dream Theater concert is part of the tour celebrating 40 years on stage, which started this month in London and will cover more than 20 countries, including Bulgaria. Dream Theater was formed in 1985 under the name Majesty by Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci and John Myung, then students at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After 20 years in the group, in which he contributed to the release of 10 classic Dream Theater album, Mike Portnoy left in 2010. Now, to the delight of fans, the famous drummer is once again part of Dream Theater and the new album and tour marking the band's 40th anniversary marks its triumphant return. Last week, the band also shared the date for the premiere of their 16th studio album Parasomnia (February 7, 2025 via InsideOutMusic ) and a brand new single and video - Night Terror.
