Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv invites young visitors to a colorful "Festival of Autumn Creativity" during the weekend

The Regional Natural History Museum in Plovdiv celebrates the beauty of the autumn season with the "Festival of Autumn Creativity", which will take place over three days - on October 25, 26 and 27 (Friday-Sunday).

The museum aims to encourage young visitors to create using the rich natural materials that autumn offers – dry leaves, grasses, twigs, chestnuts, acorns, colorful fruits, etc. The works of the participants in the initiative will be exhibited in the museum building and will be available for viewing until the end of October.

The program of the holiday includes three interesting initiatives.

The first of them is entitled "Autumn Creativity". With it, the museum team invites children and young people up to the age of 16 from the city of Plovdiv to make their autumn work using natural materials available this season. The works can be collages, sculptures or mixed. Each participant who brings his work to the museum cash desk by 16:00 on 25.10.2024 will receive a voucher for a free visit to the exhibition and the opportunity to participate in the autumn exhibition. Each work must be accompanied by the young artist's name, contact phone or email.

The second initiative in the "Festival of Autumn Creativity" includes a series of specialized lectures about nature in autumn with groups of students from Plovdiv schools.

The third initiative includes holding a "Creative Weekend" - on 26 and 27.10. (Saturday and Sunday) with the organization of autumn-themed coloring workshops and an autumn leaf collage workshop.
