Chamber Stage Plovdiv JR  presents the talented young pianist Boris Petkov  

Traditionally, in the second half of the season, the team of the "Chamber scene Plovdiv" platform prepares concerts with particular focus and diligence, the emphasis of which is on the presentation of young, talented Bulgarian artists with a distinct potential for successful realization of the modern music scene. After the successful performance of Agleia Kaneva and Alexander Vichev last year, "Chamber scene Plovdiv Jr" in the 2024 season offers the stage to the young pianist Boris Petkov.

Graduate on Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Munich, Germany in specialty executive art-classical piano, Boris Petkov is active concert performer, laureate on dozens national international contests and festivals as:​​ Ticino Musica - Switzerland, Musica Mundi - Belgium, Yehudi Menuhin - Germany.

He holds the Grand Prix of the first edition on the contest "Milcho Leviev" in 2024.

In the same year, he won the trust of the team of the largest international festival for contemporary jazz music in Bulgaria - Bansko Jazz Festival for presenting one 's own project of the international scene on the festival, in the upcoming 2025​ he will participate actively in the concert life in Bulgaria, with projects such as: JazzBoree, Suspended Fourth, Take JAZZ !!, Ghosted Jazz Band and a number others.

On October 31, on the stage in the First Studio of Radio Plovdiv from 7:00 p.m., the young talent comes out with his project Boris Petkov Trio consisting of: Boris Petkov (piano), Hristo Minchev (bass) and Nacho Gospodinov (drums).

The trio will present interpretations on selected plays on the world famous Plovdiv pianist - Milcho Leviev. In the program are included and​ rarely performed transcriptions for solo piano, as well as favorites jazz standards interpreted in the timeless spirit of contemporary classical and jazz improvisation.

Chamber scene Plovdiv is implemented with the support of the Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2024.
