Vienna Strauss Philharmonic Orchestra

From February 15 to 23, 2025, the Vienna Strauss Orchestra will perform concerts in Bulgaria - Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Shumen, Burgas, Varna and Ruse. The orchestra was founded in 2014 by the creator of the world-famous Mozart Orchestra, Gerald Grünbacher (Vienna, Austria). 27 musicians from all over the world (Austria, Hungary, Germany, Cyprus, Poland, Taiwan, Ukraine, Croatia, Japan) have been selected by a special jury for this tour. The main part of the collective's repertoire consists of masterpieces by Brahms, Haydn, Mozart, representatives of the Strauss dynasty and other classical composers. The Vienna Strauss Orchestra successfully toured throughout Europe (in Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, etc.). The group's activity is aimed at preserving and developing the musical culture of Vienna and promoting it at the European and international level. The conductor of the orchestra is András Deak - a talented and charismatic maestro with a long and successful career. He is a brilliant leader-conductor who will perform two full movements with incredible energy. András Deak has played in many famous concert halls with leading world orchestras:

· with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada) at Jack Singer Hall (Calgary);

· at the Orpheum Theater in Vancouver with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra;

· at the Kennedy Center in Washington with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra;

· in Chicago with the Lyric Opera Orchestra of Chicago. In 2006, András László Deak was invited to conduct the Vienna Mozart Orchestra at the Vienna Musikferein, and since then he has been a regular guest conductor of this renowned ensemble.
