With a large retrospective in the City Gallery, the 80th anniversary of the birth of the artist Tanyu Mitev (1944-2020) is being celebrated

This year marked the 80th anniversary of the birth of the famous Plovdiv artist Tanyu Mitev, who unfortunately did not live to see them. His relatives will mark the anniversary with a large exhibition of his in the City Art Gallery - Plovdiv. "THE WAY OF HONESTNESS. TANYU MITEV - 80 YEARS OF THE ARTIST'S BIRTH" will open on November 7, 2024. at 6:00 p.m. in the Halls for temporary expositions on ul. "Prince Alexander I" #15.

Works by Tanyu Mitev are owned by the National Gallery, City Gallery of Fine Arts-Plovdiv, Sofia City Art Gallery, as well as many other public and private collections.

In the exhibition, it will be possible to see over 60 of his works from different periods and trace his creative development. It will last until November 26, 2024. Entrance to it is free.
