The 15th International Festival "Balabanov House's Music Days" presentsthe the premiere of the project "Contrabando"! On November 16, at Balaban House from 6:30 PM, "Contrabando" will present on the stage not only the two main instruments of tango, but also the hearts of two lovers. Inspired by the smallest typical tango orchestra in the world “La Orquesta Tipica mas Chica del mundo", Stoyan and Asya Karaivanovi have selected some of the most fascinating tango melodies, with which they burn together on stage.

 

Stoyan Karaivanov is the first Bulgarian bandoneon player who plays the classical Argentine system.

 

Asya Karaivanova is a laureate of international and national competitions and is one of the leading double bass players in Bulgaria.

 

The international festival "Balabanov House's Music Days" is the winner of prestigious awards such as "Musical Project of the Year" in the "Musician of the Year" ranking of the Bulgarian National Radio, a Gold Medal from the Ministry of Culture, the "Plovdiv Award" for music, etc. It is a part of the Cultural calendar on Municipality Plovdiv with the support of the Municipality Plovdiv, the Ministry of Culture, Foundation Musicartissimo.
