From December 13 to 19, 2024, the Golden Rhyton Festival of Bulgarian Documentary and Animation Cinema will be held in Plovdiv for the 28th time. The selection of movies is more than promising. 53 documentary and animated movies will compete in the competition program, and the parallel out-of competition edition "Open Horizons" will present another 19 film projects that will be interesting to the viewer's eye. The audience of the festival will have the opportunity to visit a number of screenings in the halls of LUCKY  House of Cinema and in alternative spaces.

The festival is held with the support of the Plovdiv municipality and has been a traditional part of the city's cultural calendar since its inception until today.
