The annual wine festival, held in November in Plovdiv, mainly in the Old Town, is one of the landmark wine events in Bulgaria. It is a celebration dedicated to the young wine from the current harvest, which is traditionally presented to the public for the first time in the autumn. During the festival, winemakers showcase their new wines in the unique atmosphere of the Revival-era houses in the Old Town. The tastings are accompanied by cultural events, wine-related lectures, meetings with producers, and presentations about wineries and their products. Tasting young wine is an integral part of wine culture and provides an opportunity for producers to promote and offer their wines directly to consumers.

 

The event is supported by the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the 2026 Annual Tourism Development Program.
