The Sons of Buena Vista – the heirs of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club – will present us with an authentic Caribbean show! We will experience an explosive combination of salsa, son cubano, bolero, and traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms.
The project The Sons of Buena Vista is inspired by the film Musica Cubana – The Sons of Buena Vista, produced by the legendary Wim Wenders. The film tells the story of young Cuban musicians who continue the tradition of Buena Vista Social Club, but with new energy and a modern perspective. After the huge success of the film, the concert version of the project will tour Europe, and Plovdiv is part of it.
The Sons of Buena Vista brings together some of the most prominent Cuban musicians of our time on stage.
