Floropopolis Festival

Tsar Simeon’s Garden

Plovdiv will be transformed with carpets of flowers. Tsar Simeon’s Garden will bloom with large-scale floral carpets made up of over 8,000 blossoms and other entirely natural materials. The festival aims to become an annual cultural symbol of the city. The first edition of Floropopolis will pay tribute to the Cyrillic alphabet in honor of the upcoming Day of Bulgarian Education, Culture, and Slavic Script. Floral compositions depicting the letters of the alphabet will be displayed along the central alley in front of the Viennese Pavilion.
