Chamber Scene Plovdiv 2025: Intergenerational Traumas, Art Exhibition and Performance
Thursday, May 29 at 7 p.m.
First Studio of Radio Plovdiv

Chamber Scene Plovdiv invites you to a special event featuring Alex Louloudis.
Alex Louloudis is a multidisciplinary artist known for his exploration of personal narratives through sound and performance. His work often delves into themes of memory and trauma. A drummer, composer, and performer, he graduated from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. He has released four albums of original music and has been featured at venues across the globe.
"Intergenerational Trauma" is a compelling art exhibition and performance by the renowned musician and artist, delving into the haunting legacy of World War II and its lasting impact on future generations. The exhibition examines trauma passed down through Louloudis’s family, particularly through his maternal great-grandfather, Ilias Karamanlis, who was captured during the war and sent to a concentration camp. After his release, Ilias embarked on a long and painful journey back to his hometown of Drama, Greece, only to find his wife devastated by the presumed news of his death.
