The Real Musicians of Bremen is a story about four youngsters who choose to gain some money by singing and playing on streets. They are enthusiastic and full of creative ideas. What can come out of this and how is it connected with the donkey, the dog, the cat and the rooster, who were all sent away by their owners and who wanted to become street musicians in Bremen? Our four friends are not performers, they can’t sew suits, and cannot make puppets, or is it otherwise? Are we completely wrong in our first judgement of them? The clothes they gather they turn into magnificent costumes, the useless staff become beautiful puppets, and the old tale bursts into a new reggae-styled story.

Every one of us can find himself in the position of a king, a court jester, an executioner or a monk. Sometimes simultaneously. Sometimes, driven by the consequences or by their very own and uncontrollable desires, people can decide to change the costume, their image, the part they play; to change their social roles and thus to articulate long kept secrets. But when the spiritual has been long destroyed, and the perennial values like love and friendship has lost their significance, the only thing left is horrifying and destructive zest. Sometimes when a person falls entrapped by his lower passions, along comes the joy of humiliating and mocking the others. It is the humiliation as a refined form of revenge... And it's always against the people this person loves the most.
