Kings
Kings, Exhibition - watercolours
Thursday 22 May - Sunday 22 June
Regional Natural History Museum
The exhibition is dedicated to emblematic and rare species of birds of prey – eagles and vultures that breed or are found in Bulgaria. The series features 12 original watercolor works, presented with a refined aesthetic and a delicate attention to detail.
With near-scientific accuracy, each bird is depicted in a characteristic pose – perched and completely still. Two exceptions stand out: the Eastern Imperial Eagle and the Bearded Vulture – shown in flight and at a larger scale, they convey motion and power, becoming central highlights of the exhibition.
"Kings" is more than an art show – it is a personal tribute to nature, a visual archive of a threatened world, and a message of conservation. It invites viewers to reflect on the fragile balance between humans and the wild.
The opening event will take place on May 22 at 6 p.m. – admission is free!
