Children's Crafts Fair

At the Fair, the eleven traditional crafts taught at the Crafts School – Plovdiv will be presented. Craft masters will welcome children at workshops in: Icon Painting, Traditional National Costume, Jewelry Making, Artistic Ceramics, Artistic Woodworking and Woodcarving, Hand Weaving (Vertical Loom), Painted Easter Eggs, Pottery Wheel Ceramics, Baking and Pastry Arts, Felting (Artistic Textiles), and Glass Painting. All children who wish to dive into the magic of Bulgarian crafts are invited to join the demonstrations and hands-on activities.
The opening will begin with a parade starting at 11:00 AM from the iconic “Plovdiv 2019” steps and will proceed to the Bulgarian National Bank building on Raiko Daskalov Street. There, children’s craft workshops will be accompanied by a musical program and a quiz with prizes.

The Children's Crafts Fair is part of the City of Plovdiv's 2025 Cultural Calendar and is organized with the financial support of Plovdiv Municipality.
