Opera and the City, concert

Plovdiv Opera and the Municipality of Plovdiv invite residents and guests of the city to the festive gala concert "The City Celebrates the Opera", taking place at Central Square (above the Gladstone Street overpass), with the special participation of the virtuoso violinist Vesko Eschkenazy.
The concert will feature soloists and the orchestra of Plovdiv Opera, conducted by Maestro Dian Tchobanov, Director of the Opera.
The program includes works by Massenet, Piazzolla, Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Bizet, Cilea, Dvořák, and Johann Strauss.

The concert is part of the annual program of Opera Plovdiv Open Air – “Classic Open Air,” organized with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv and included in the city’s Cultural Calendar.
