Light Up the Neighborhood – Theatre in the Park, Festival

The “Light Up the Neighborhood – Theatre in the Park” festival will once again bring life to some of Plovdiv’s favorite parks and delight theatre lovers during the summer months.
For the seventh consecutive year, the parks across the city districts will transform into open-air stages where Plovdiv residents can enjoy performances such as “Fans” starring Valentin Tanev and Hristo Garbov, “If I, If You” featuring Krasimira Demirova and Simeon Vladov, and “Too Much Laughter” with Nencho Ilchev. For the youngest audience members, there will be two special shows: “Fun Magic Tricks” with Nencho Ilchev and “Just Not Me.”
The idea behind the festival is to promote theatrical art by organizing open theatre evenings accessible to everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, education, or interests.

The festival is held with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv and is part of the city’s Cultural Calendar for 2025.
