A piano orchestra of eight internationally acclaimed virtuoso pianists from five countries will transform four grand pianos into a powerful symphonic force, performing some of the most popular opera overtures in music history. This one-of-a-kind open-air concert under the stars, presented by the Baynov Piano Ensemble led by Professor Tomislav Baynov, promises to delight the people of Plovdiv and guests of the city.
The audience will be immersed in masterpieces of global classical music. The program features overtures and excerpts from operas by Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Bizet, Glinka, Franz von Suppé, and Charles Gounod — all specially arranged for performance by eight pianists on four grand pianos. That’s 16 virtuoso hands interpreting music across 352 keys!
Soloists:Tomislav N. Baynov, Daniela Manusardi, Zuzana Suchánová, Sonja Asschar, Luigi Caselli, Ting Yoen, Svetlana Annatoli, and Heinrich Bayse.

The concert "World-Famous Opera Overtures on Four Grand Pianos" is included in the Cultural Calendar of the City of Plovdiv and is part of the Music of the Ages 2025 forum.
