Falstaff – Verdi, Concert Performance

"All the world’s a joke, and man is born a jester" – with these words ends the comic opera Falstaff, Giuseppe Verdi’s final masterpiece, based on Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor. We present a concert performance of this operatic gem featuring soloists Dobromir Momekov, Svilen Nikolov, Mark Fowler, Alexander Baranov, Boris Kuchkov, Geo Chobanov, Mariana Panova, Vera Girginova, Valeria Mircheva, and Elena Chavdarova–Isa, accompanied by the Orchestra of Opera Plovdiv. The performance will be conducted by participants in the masterclass of Vladimir Kiradjiev, professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
