The official opening will take place on October 1st at 6 p.m. in the main hall of the Regional Ethnographic Museum.
The theme of this year’s edition is “Wine and Love. Love and Wine” – an artistic take on the timeless connection between these two intoxicating forces. The artists approach the theme with humor and inspiration – from romance and passion to the ironic and comical aspects of life. More than 200 original works have been submitted for the competition, including entries from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, China, Indonesia, Syria, Uzbekistan, and others.
The most outstanding cartoons are featured in the exhibition, which will be open to visitors at the museum until the end of October.
