The plot follows the story of Daniel – a successful lawyer who comes home late every night, telling his wife Catherine that he's been comforting his depressed friend, Charlie. The problem is, Catherine has never actually seen this friend. Pressured by his increasingly suspicious wife, Daniel decides to invite Charlie over for dinner – but since Charlie doesn’t really exist, he is forced to enlist the help of a random customer from a bar. What follows is a series of misunderstandings and comic situations that keep the audience laughing until the very end.
The lead roles are played by Marian Bachev, Diana Lyubenova, and Antoan Petrov. The play marks the directorial debut of Rosen Belov, with translation by Snejina Rusinova-Zdravkova. Set and costume design by Petar Mitev, and original music by Plamen Mirchev-Mirona.
