The Filharmonia Giuseppe Verdi di Salerno was founded in 1997 and is a leading participant in all opera productions at its home theatre. The Salerno stage has also welcomed Bulgarian artists from the Sofia and Varna Opera and Ballet. The orchestra has performed in France, Germany, Portugal, India, and Japan, and now, for the first time, presents its artistry to the Bulgarian audience.
