Plovdiv Jazz Fest – Spring Edition

The spring edition of Plovdiv Jazz Fest features six concerts in unusual venues for the festival, such as the Bishop’s Basilica of Philippopolis and the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev" Concert Hall, while the club stage remains at Bee Bop Cafe. The festival focuses on connecting musicians and integrating the Bulgarian jazz scene with the global jazz community.
In addition to free concerts, artists including Gretchen Parlato, Taylor Eigsti, David Linx, Petar Slavov, Mike Stern, and Leni Stern will host special workshops for young performers on piano, double bass, guitar, or vocals. This is a unique opportunity to meet and work briefly with some of the most influential contemporary jazz musicians.
