Plovdiv has always been a city of encounters – between cultures, generations, and ideas. In the upcoming edition of the Plovdiv Vibes festival, events and formats take a decisive step forward: they are no longer just displayed experiences, but actively engage audiences, transforming into dialogue, shared experiences, and interaction.
This year’s theme – “Interactions” – is inspired by the spirit of Gen Z: the generation that lives in the rhythm of interconnectedness – between people, technology, and physical spaces. For them, culture is not something to be observed from the outside. It is experienced, shared, and created collectively.
Throughout the festival, six different urban locations will be connected into one cohesive “vibrant” network – from Youth Hill and Bunardzhik, to the Old Town, Rowing Canal, Lauta Park, Ribnitsa Park, Elit Park, and the Brotherly Memorial.
Each site will become a space for interaction between art and audience: concerts, street performances, workshops, exhibitions, digital and interactive installations, cinema, literature, art studios, physical culture, and visual interventions.
