Art Positive – [De]gradation
Art Positive – [De]gradation, Еxhibition
Friday, April 3 – Wednesday, May 6
Kapana Gallery
The exhibition is not just a display, but a visual narrative about the time we live in—a time of instability, of rearranging layers, and of searching for meaning among the remnants of the old—an истории of transition. Twenty-four artists from Plovdiv accept the challenge to explore the processes of transition: between accumulation and loss, between stable forms and social upheavals.
In “[De]gradation,” the audience will discover that decay is not always an ending. Often, it is a necessary stage that makes space for new structures and unexpected ideas. The artists use a wide range of expressive means to provoke a dialogue about transformations—both those we see in society and the intimate, hidden processes within the human soul.
The official opening is from 6 to 8 p.m., when visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists in person and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the project.
Participating artists in the exhibition: Adelyna Zlatareva, Antonia Kostova, Vesela Statkova, Vesko Velev, Velina Hristova, Georgi Stanchev, Defne Güler, Eva Petkova, Evgeni Mladenov, Emil Mirazchiev, Zarina Marinova, Zdravka Rubin, Ivan Karev, Mia Novakova, Nadya Genova, Natasha Kypova, Osman Yuseinov, Petar Kochevski, Reinhard Mantz, Sarkis Nersesyan, Sevdalina Kochevska, Sonya Mitova, Strahil Penev, and Tsvetan Radenkov.
