One of the most beloved Bulgarian stories comes to life on stage for the very first time.
“Ladies’ Choice” – a cult title, now adapted for the stage for the first time in its history, based on the iconic novel by Georgi Mishev – combines subtle humor, warm melancholy, and strikingly accurate observations on love, loneliness, and human illusions, bringing audiences a vivid theatrical experience.
This is not merely a transfer of a familiar title. It is a reunion with those lines that have long become part of our language, our sense of humor, and the way we perceive love – slightly naive, sometimes a little desperate, yet always with a smile and hope.
All these words – familiar, beloved, quoted for years – will be heard again, but this time through the eyes of live actors, in the silence of the auditorium, in the laughter that begins with nostalgia and reaches into the present day.
