Created in collaboration with composer and conductor Georgi Andreev and the musicians of Quarto Quartet, the project combines the magic of Bulgarian choral singing with the expressiveness of chamber music.
Traditional folk melodies meet new compositions and contemporary arrangements, where the past and present resonate as one.
Winner of a Grammy Award and dozens of international honors, The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices has for more than three decades showcased the Bulgarian vocal tradition on the world’s most prestigious stages.
On this special day - the Day of Bulgarian Literacy, Education, and Culture - these voices will return to where they belong most strongly: among the people.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
