An annual competition recognizing the most outstanding amateur folk dance groups and ensembles, supporting their development and raising the level of performance skills among participants in amateur folk dance groups and ensembles across the country.
The aim of the competition is to preserve, promote, and develop Bulgarian folk dance art with respect for the authenticity of our cultural heritage, striving for the highest level of stage performance, and to showcase all the most accomplished amateur folk dance groups and ensembles on a single stage for the wider public.
