Dracula – The Musical

This year, the Musical-Dramatic Theatre “Konstantin Kisimov” – Veliko Tarnovo has, for the first time in Bulgaria, produced one of the most impressive Broadway musicals of our time – “Dracula” by Frank Wildhorn, based on the novel by Bram Stoker, with officially acquired rights from Music Theatre International. The realization of this musical by a Bulgarian state institution represents an undisputed cultural precedent and a statement of a new level in the development of Bulgarian musical theatre.
“Dracula” is a large-scale production featuring soloists, choir, orchestra, and ballet, created by an established artistic team and an impressive cast selected after a highly competitive audition involving nearly 50 candidates from Bulgaria and abroad. One of the key visual highlights of the performance is the innovative 3D mapping projection, created by the studio Elektrick.me – world champions from iMapp Bucharest.
