Municipality of Plovdiv won 2 awards at the 12th edition of the International touristic exposition ''Cultural tourism'' which was held from 1-4.04 in Veliko Tarnovo. After presenting its touristic resources and developmental  potential in the sphere of tourism , the Municipality of Plovdiv was awarded the ''Asenevtsi'' prize for sustaining cultural and historical heritage. In READ AND TRAVEL competition Plovdiv won ''Most effective publications and columns''.

The International touristic exposition ''Cultural tourism'' is organised by The Ministry of Tourism, the Bulgarian hotelier and restaurant association and the Association of Bulgarian touroperators and agencies as well as Municipal agency of tourism ''Tsarevgrad Tarnov''.
