Bulgaria has been chosen to host one of the greatest international events in the wine branch – Digital Wine Communications Conference. It is going to be carried out in October 2015 when the most influential wine bloggers and marketing specialists will gather together.

DWCC has been held annually since 2008 at various locations worldwide. The hosting country is paid particular attention in order to be positioned as an important wine destination and the recognition of its wine to be increased. Previous hosts of the event were countries with long-standing traditions for wine such as Turkey, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.

The conference organizers from Vrazon announced that Bulgaria has been chosen for a host due to the incredible combination of central location, renowned historical and cultural heritage, developing wine production and an incredible variety of wines which are going to grab all the wine lovers.

The key points of the event every year are the patterns and options for communication and positioning the wine industry in the era of modern technologies and social networks. DWCC aims to establish an international society of wine communicators, to pull for gaining new skills and stimulate the exchange of experience in the dynamic world of wine and the related tourism.

The conference is intended to gather in Bulgaria the people who actually inculcate the patters for wine production and consummation globally- the greatest wine experts, the experts for marketing and communication in the wine industry, the most popular wine bloggers and journalists and some key suppliers and producers of wine from all around the world.

“It is a fact that the countries which have organized former editions of DWCC consequently hit the leadership in importing and exporting their wine production to international markets. This is what we expect Bulgaria to achieve”-says Galina Niphoru, a chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Wine Exporters and one of the initiators of the conference.
